Everyone has experienced some form of shock in life, whether from a physical accident or an emotional event. The amazing natural design of the body is to direct the shock away from the heart. Shock is stored in our heels. The bone in the heel, the calcaneus bone, was designed as “spongy” to absorb shock energy.
When this shock energy remains in our heels, it causes serious problems. Shock and irregular energy represent the initial stage of all disease states. Shock energy interferes with the natural flow of yang energy, that flows from the top of our body down to our feet. This yang energy is naturally intended to go out the feet and help us ground to the Earth. Shock energy in the heels blocks this flow out of the body. Irregular energy then sets into the body. When energy can’t flow well, it gets stuck and then turns into irregular energy. We feel irregular energy as restriction, pain, tightness, or soreness. It becomes serious when the irregular energy moves backward up the body from the toes/heels, up the calves, to the sacrum, and then to the fuse box of our body. This irregular energy goes opposite to the natural flow of this yang energy, also leading to errant electricity in the body. This errant electricity can cause a short in our body’s electrical system.
This energetic fuse box on our backs looks like a fuse box in our homes. Simply, the bladder meridian, yang energy, flows from the inside of our eyes, up over our heads and down the spine, down the outside and back of our legs, and off the outside of our feet. This pathway illuminates bladder meridian’s intimate association with our central nervous system and electrical system. Specific bladder meridian points along the spine are called Back Shu points. These Back Shu points are electrically connected to different organs of the body, like the fuse box in our houses are associated with different rooms. For example, bladder 23 point is associated with the kidney organ. If irregular energy or errant electricity ends up in bladder meridian 23, then that irregular energy will be sent to the kidney organs. This irregular energy in the kidney organs will eventually lead to improper functioning of the kidneys and disease will eventually set in.
The good news — this irregular energy and errant electricity can be shifted back to regular energy and errant electricity can be sent down the body, off the toes, and sent into Earth.
